To Setup and Adjust the Speed of the Clock

1. Level the clock either on the wall, floor or table.
2. Re-hang the pendulum and the weights. Move the pendulum to one side and release it. If you feel resistance STOP and release the pendulum, do not force the pendulum any further. This could throw it out of adjustment.
3. It may be necessary to re-adjust the speed of the clock. This is done by adjusting the pendulum bob (disc, leaf or figure) up or down. If there is no pendulum then there may be an adjusting screw in the back of the clock (floating balance movements) by turning this adjustment screw you adjust the speed of the clock. If you do not have your manual, approximate each revolution of the bottom nut to be 1/2 -1 minute/day.
Faster – According to the clock, either turn the nut at the bottom of the pendulum disc to the right or slide the pendulum bob up or follow the adjustment guide on the back movement.
Slower – According to the clock, either turn the nut at the bottom of the pendulum disc to the left or slide the pendulum bob down or follow the adjustment guide on the back movement.
4. After adjusting the speed, set the hands to the proper time and recheck the time in 24 hours. Do this every day until it is running correctly.
